Kaavish is a comtemporary semi classical band from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, formed in 1999. The band is founded by vocalist, keyboardist and songwriter, Jaffer Zaidi and lead guitarist, Maaz Maudood.The band released their debut single 'Bachpan' on the internet in 2002 which soon hit the radio waves all over the country. In 2005 the band emerged out of the underground with the released of Bachpan’s video on music channels nationwide and overseas. The song quickly made its way up on the top ten charts on various music channels and gained popularity amongst the masses.
